 1043 Fifth Avenue no longer exists. Address absorbed into 1040 Fifth Avenue, erected in 1930, designed by Rosario Candela.

Some notable properties designed by Architect A.  Wallace McCrea - 18 East 74th Street, New York, NY - 16 East 69th Street New York, NY  128 East 73rd Street, New York, NYMcCrea specialized in town-house modernization. 

The Byrne family moved around a lot. The earliest home found was at 170 Central Park South which is now the sight of the JW Marriott Essex House

In the book The Architecture of Grosvenor Atterbury it reference 51 West 58th Street as a property the architect work on for the Byrne's in 1901.

 Unclear if this is a Grosvenor Atterbury design. The brickwork sure makes me wonder though.

Bar Harbor, Maine
In 1926 Byrne commissioned Guy Lowell to remodel a large stick style style cottage into a Tuscan Villa.  The Byrnes hired Beatrix Farrand to design a series of terraced formal gardens, cascading down the steep slope.
